weekend vacation

Downtown Green Bay
For the first time ever, I saw the nutcracker live. The entire theater was just like I remembered it from a long-ago orchestra performance. It felt like you were stepping into an medieval castle.

Sadly, for you poor readers, photography was strictly prohibited in the auditorium, so I was not able to take any photos of the ballerinas or the set.

They had real / fake snow during the Waltz of the Snowflakes. That was an amazing dance.

The angels seems to float across the stage, and I especially loved the smallest angel (who could hardly be older than three!) who kept bumping into others. ;)

Perhaps someday, I could be in the nutcracker? I heard that laugh. I'm content with my small little studio I go to now!

  1. Beautiful memories. If you keep up that jeté like you do, you can make it into the Nutcracker.
