my mount rushmore

For our girl's bible study, we had to fill out our "Mt. Rushmore" of people who encouraged us in our faith. So, here I will randomly share my Mount Rushmore and some of the people who have impacted my life.

KATIE DAVIS // AUTHOR OF KISSES FROM KATIE AND FOUNDER OF AMAZIMA MINISTRIES
It was reading her book, Kisses from Katie, that gave me the passion to start seriously thinking about my dream of missions. I love her heart for God and the children of Uganda and I am inspired by the huge impact her story has on my life.
FRANCIS CHAN // AUTHOR OF CRAZY LOVE
This humble man was an inspiration to me - not only could I relate to practically every word written in Crazy Love (I have yet to read the others!) I was also surprised by his humility and his quiet, but powerful passion for God. Thanks to his honesty and his willingness to serve Christ, my life was seriously changed and I was spiritually challenged to serve Christ with all my life.

SARAH & GRACE MALLY // BRIGHT LIGHTS
I went to my first Bright Lights conference when I was eight years old. I remembered these two girls, the one who spoke so passionately, and the girl who played the piano like Mozart (better, since I don't enjoy Mozart). I strangely never forget them and was inspired by their pure joy and eagerness to serve Christ. I've attended the conferences twice and enjoyed them so much, and am thankful for what a blessing it was (and still is) to me!
