$1 facials | Proof that we're actually crazy

Let me begin with an explanation: this post isn't pretty.
However, my sisters and I sorta started this tradtion of using $1 facials from Wal Mart. A lot of people have this presumption that my sisters and I are perfect girls made of prim-and-proper stuff. The dead-honest truth is, unfortunately, far far far far far far far from that.

So, Wal Mart facials. They're ugly, super fun, and a great way to spend thirty minutes of your life. They're down the awkward aisle in the store and they come in a variety of creepy packages and styles.
You begin by smearing toothpaste looking/smelling paste on your face and screaming. Here Hannah demonstrates with suburb skill (and bravery).

This picture sums up the different facial expressions of disgust in our family. (I have no idea what Caroline is thinking. . .) Needless to say, our bathroom is messy, we do weird things, and we certainly are loud.

P.s. I found this post in my drafts. . .this was originally written in December.

    2. Well, steal the camera sometime. And unless I wanna get $1 facials all over the camera body, I coped without any self-portraits. ;)

  2. Suburb skill. I like it. It's like: City folk have urban skills. And farm kids have rural skills. But we have suburb skills, 'cause that's where we live.

  4. This makes me smile. @Hannah: you should share your vast experiences with concocting other facial mixtures. Cinnamon? Nutmeg? Milk? Olive oil? @Bailey: where were you during this fun facial/sister bonding time?
